Started tuning in 1977..with a Niles Bryant course. While studying Music at college, I worked for Baldwin dealership, and became a tuner! Passed a two year course from Napa Valley College for 'Piano Tuning and Related Technology', as the certificate says. Have served my Portland Chapter as Newsletter Editor, President, and Tuning Exam Chair. Awarded the 'Emil Fries Award of Merit' by the Portland Chapter. Served as Institute Director for the 2010 PTG Convention in Las Vegas.
