    There was a buzz in the treble. Apparently this rock was wedged between the plate and bridge to stop buzz.
         I located the buzz. The small lid stick was buzzing at rest.
         I did wonder if this was the original Rock and Roll.

    I tooned a pieano where the owner used bubble gum to put some key ivories on.  It worked just grate and the pink color on the sides gave the old upright some nice color and smell.  

    All ya'alls comments about Hillbilly piano repairs were darn right funny. I seen many over that last 100 years and have done some myself. They worked! Do what works fer you!
