I'm considering buying a Air Eraser (Paasche AEC-K Air Eraser Kit) to do small sandbasting jobs in the shop, specifically cleaning agraffes.  And maybe case hardware (OFF the piano)
Anyone have one of these, or experience them?  Kinda curious to know if they work for cleaning smaller parts.

    Dave,

This is totally new to me however, I know a tech who modified his glass bead blaster in such a way as to clean bridge tops. He said it was like lightning!

If this unit could do that I would certainly be interested!  Go for it and let us know how it works.

    Dave,

If you're willing to refill the reservoir frequently, consider use a
cheap gravity-fed soda blasting unit with an air compressor at 100 psi.
(Pressure below that becomes bothersome.) The blast media is baking
soda. Do it outside and the rains will wash your media away... easy as
    duck soup.
