For all the CAUTrageous folk working tirelessly and behind the scenes this time of year
It wouldn't be great without you.  Really!

With inspiration from Clement Clarke Moore's Twas The Night Before Christmas

    TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE JURIES

Twas the night before jury's and all through the school....
The pianos are readied....Even cleaned off the drool.

The regs are to specs... the voicing all done.
Will anyone notice???  Nary a one.

'Till heard in my over taxed ears as the fester....
    The final....last tuning....of another semester.

The Steinways are prepped for the students to bear....
With full knowledge that the jury-folk probably won't care.

The last one completed ...my work here is done.
    Gonna celebrate this weekend...

    Cancun... anyone???

Ah, yes, juries ... teaching music students that they can survive a lot of stress without giving way to panic.

I remember there was even a sense of time dilation during one of mine.

If the pianos weren't prepared, then that would be noticed.
