I want to get the word out that George Mason University in Fairfax, VA is looking for a new full time tech for their School of Music. It's an All-Steinway school where most of the pianos are under 10 years old. It's a growing university and school with great benefits and flexible hours.

If interested here's the link, https://jobs.gmu.edu/postings/39455

It is curious as to how seemingly frequent this University is looking for a "new" technician.

    Hi Gerald~
I was the first full time technician at the university. I've been there for over three years and the contracted technician before me was there over 20 years, I believe.

    Hello,

Perhaps I am thinking of "J"MU rather than "G"MU.
    If so, my apology.

Yes, I was curious if this is a new position as in "adding" a tech, or replacement?
