It seems to me Bossing people around has never ceased to be a status symbol in USA society, rather than a complete embarassment, and a lot of people seeking employment think mastering people, not a skill, is the path to vocational fulfillment.
For the sake of the PTG, a guild recognizing the fact that it is more important to devote oneself to mastering a skill rather than other people, where skills are extremely important, and mastering Others, not, how do we increase membership by not falling into the trap of communicating mastering people is a better option?
