why is HL sending me emails of all pianotech posts, even though my settings clearly has "no emails" showing?

I am getting the same thing and it's beginning to bother me. Only on certain threads though, not all.

I have also been getting Pianotech emails, but only on threads I had participated in, responses to my posts. I didn't get any of this thread by email (yet), for example.

I believe Fred has it, in the meantime could everyone please try and turn off a new setting and let me know?

The setting is found under your account for "email preferences" and turning "social emails" to "no". If this does work, I am not a fan of how crowded and complicated these settings have become and apologize...

Mine is set to no email. I don't find that page you show anywhere.

The "No Social Emails" setting seems to be working for me.
