Cosmopolitan upright made by Kimball. Yr: 1998.
Kimball apparently made this model as an experiment to compete with electronic keyboards. At least that's what the customer told me the salesman told her. All I can find is that Cosmopolitan is a name that Kimball used. Can't find any info on the piano itself. Apparently they came in bright day-glow colors, though this one was white with gold trim. Apparently made them for only three years before abandoning the project. Really cute piano. Any smaller and it would be a horrible spinet. As it is it's just horribly cute.
Anybody got some info I could share with them?

The one I tuned was bright fuschia and poorly designed and fitted case work. I had to shim the key cover with .030 card stock punching to make it work right. The piano inside? Kimball, need I say more?

I have to look up the brand but I recall a piano that had chrome legs and a veneer cabinet of some type. The setting was a condo unit done in all white as in furniture and carpets. Very high end and it looked more like a keyboard but was an acoustic piano. I think it was at a time when some makers offered many cabinet styles/trims. I will try to research more and may even have a picture. It was totally rad
