    Hi all,

One of our older ('70's) Baldwin grands in a practice room now has a broken shift lever for the una corda pedal!  Never seen this before.  Where might I find one?

    Thanks

    Paul

Sorry I've taken so long to get back about my customer's broken Baldwin shift lever. This was on a 1995 Baldwin M, 5'2", #330706.

Someone offered me a spare, which looked very close to mine in shape, but it was 15" long instead of 12" long. (Nice try!)  I'll email him to let him know you're looking, Paul.

Well, Mine is really a fraction over 12" long. The short arm is about 4-1/8" long. The oval part of the shaft is roughly 1/2" for the short axis, and just over 5/8"  for the long one. See photo. The break happened just where it emerged from the wooden slot with the hinge pin. My customer had it professionally welded, but it broke again at the same place.
