...you missed a great event. 720+ in attendance, from all over the world, in certainly the most fantastic hotel I've ever stayed at. And Lisa Weller presented an institute that kept me in class every period of every day. If it weren't for Maggie Malone's, across the street, and Pappy's BBQ, I probably would have never ventured outside the building.
I'm sure you've seen pics of the hotel, but here it is again anyway...
Certainly the most dynamic part of this hotel was the Grand Hall, now a huge and exquisite bar. Projected image mapping movies got projected onto the walls and 65' high domed ceiling every night. There were about six of them I think, and one got played, pretty much at random, at the top of every hour. Here is a video of the one that started off every evening. I did not take this video. It is presented by the company that developed the technology and subsequently made the videos. This one runs about six minutes.
