    Hi everyone,
How do you deal with agraffes that are so closely spaced you can't fit the standard agraffe wrench between them to turn them?
    thanks,
    Scott

    Hi Scott,

You might want to check the file size of the agraffes.jpg you just uploaded. It appears to be still processing.

    Mr. Cole,
The Schaff number 30 agraffe  remover is open on the sides and can be useful when clearance is an issue. It fits into a combination handle but some agraffes are too tight to remove without a bit more leverage. For this purpose I put a 90 degree bend in one of mine. I use the other one in it's original form in a drill chuck attached to my power screwdriver for rapid installation. While useful, the number 30 is not really a good substitute for the Jahn tool sold by Pianotek. I always use both on any new sets I install.

I have a normal T handle agraffe remover that I ground the sides out of so would fit older agraffes that are wider. Then I ground it down narrower to fit tightly spaced agraffes like these ones.

You can start them with a small vice grip pliers.
Turn each one 90 degrees for clearance, then use the T handled tool from Pianotek the rest of the way.
    Do the opposite to re-install.
The open sided combination handle tools slip off. You can install a brass band or just a band of tape,
