    I recently acquired a 48" vertical that does not have a model number but only a Schimmel Special sticker on the hammer rail. Can someone tell me what model this would be equivalent to. c. 1992.

    If it does not have Schimmel cast into the plate, I doubt it is a Schimmel from Germany. It could be as Asian knock-off.
