    Hello all,
A Yamaha Grand piano G1 serial 1138435 was stolen from Oak Ridge Tennessee. Black,  Bench has a cream leather top.

A clients father was the owner and had passed away in June 2017. The daughter was then in charge of the estate. She lives out of town. She hired a handyman to do work on the property getting everything ready to sell. The handyman was the only local who had keys. Was told He showed the piano to two people, when she got into town the piano was gone. Stolen between December 1 2017 and January 25th 2018.
It has been reported to the police.

    Thanks for any help.

At the meeting last night, this piano was brought up again by another technician there. The owner of the piano is desperately trying to get her deceased fathers piano back.
    So far, no luck.
    Keep your eyes open! Thanks

The handyman is a prime suspect.

a g1 yamaha simply does not vanish unless david cooperfield was involved. my bet is that it was one of the two people who came and looked at it. more than one person involved and they had to have a trailer or truck with a lift, skid board etc. its also possible they hired a legit mover and told them a story . guy with the keys might be involved. doubt someone tried to pawn it
