Found this style of a loop on an old square piano. I think it looked classy. Question: Are there names for different style of loops?

English loop (high helix loop) similar to what you have there, but with the more common simple 5 finish windings after the helix part. Heller, the German bass string maker calls these "French Loops".

German loops, double German loops being the other common loop style.

Check out this crazy loop. I guess you could say it's "loopey".

It's off of a Broadwood square.
So the standard is loop, helix (8-12), winding(3-5).
Mine would be Loop, helix, winding, a second doubleback winding over helix.
