I've installed a few piano trucks on vertical pianos over the years. There seems to always be some level of movement the piano has when supported only under the case base on the truck. One particular one was where the church folks (in this case) agreed with me and asked me to do something to stabilize the piano. I think I came up with a reasonably elegant and effective solution. Of course, you'll have to reposition the caster cups each time the piano is moved, but in this case, they don't move it often. In any event, it is super easy to reposition the casters because the keybed lifts that little bit very easily!
