    Hello all.

I have a client with a Baldwin console (European style design). She had it moved and the movers lost one of the front feet. It is a threaded metal piece. Picture an upside down T. The vertical portion is threaded. It screws into the base of the piano.

Baldwin says that they MIGHT have something that will work but they need a picture. I can't figure out how to get safely get a picture without putting the piano on a tilter and removing the remaining foot. I would rather not have to do that.

Does anyone have one of these from a junk piano?

    Thanks

If you've got the strength you can tip the piano on one end. Or maybe you can have someone help you.  Much easier and quicker than a filter.

Lift the end of the piano and place a block underneath to elevate and remove the existing leg support.
