Hey Folks, I just looked at a Steinway Victorian square and a Style 2 grand that belong to an historic house here. They want them cleaned up and playable just enough for decoration, of course. The problem is that they have managed to lose both lyres over the years. Does anyone have heap of antique lyres collecting dust? Or, alternatively, know anyone who can make a couple? I spoke to David Hughes and he only works on modern antiques, not old ones :). Any suggestions appreciated.

    Hi David,

I have two Steinway and one other brand square pianos.  I will give you the parts but you have to take all three pianos!  LOL!!!

    David,

If you are unsuccessful elsewhere, another contact would be Eugene Roe, RPT in NH chapter. He not only has over 300 instruments in his facility from virtually every make and age, he also has the means to make anything you might need, including ornate carving.
