My customer is selling their 20 year old Steinway B, which is retrofitted with a QRS Pianomation player.  The sostenuto pedal connections are missing of course.  A buyer wants the player removed and pedal functions restored.  Any idea what parts and labor this would require?  Thanks!

    Hi, Tom,

Depending on the quality of the QRS installation, this may be more
    complicated than meets the eye.

Any chance that you might have time to meet up in Salinas this Thursday
late-afternoon/early evening; or Friday after about 3:00 p.m.. I'll be
at Sherwood for most of that period; and we can talk more directly.

    Hope that all is well.

    Kind regards.

    Horace

I converted a Steinway M from a PianoDisc system recently. I purchased the missing pedal parts from Steinway. I also filled in the solenoid slot and painted it black. It was difficult to tell it had ever been a player. Fortunately, the PianoDisc conversion retains the una-corda lever.
