Luke, if nothing else pops up, the music desk kit from Schaff is really pretty nice. We purchased one that ended up not being used so it is still in the box, BUT...I checked it out thouroughly and although you have to make a couple of cuts to get the length just right-and then glue the sliding joints in place, I was really impressed with it. For like 180 bucks or so and the wood being pre-sanded and really "ready to finish" it just might be the ticket in a pinch.
Is the C3 satin or gloss? Either way you can just rattle can it with Konig or other piano laquer. (grain is open and nice for walnut, etc-but for black...might have to use paste wood filler.)
May be nice enough or just get them by until the Yamaha one comes.

Subject: Looking for a Yamaha C3 music desk
Hello All,
Does anyone out there have or know where to get a used Yamaha C3 music desk (circa 1976)? I have a customer that is in need of one ASAP. It wouldn't have to be in great shape as the case on this piano is not in tip-top shape.
Yamaha apparently can make them to order, but it would be 6-8 months before I could get it.
Thank you for your time!
Best,
Luke
