Any ideas on how to get water to Dampp Chaser tanks in a setting where there are multiple floors and water is quite a way away from pianos?

One thing I have in done in situations like yours was to use a five-gallon water bottle fitted with a hand pump and strapped to a vertical dolly. Brings the water supply to the pianos.

Here's my solution.  The little yellow device is my liquid level indicator from RNIB.

Have you considered bottled distilled water. Produces longer lasting pads.

I re-use my 5 gallon kitty litter containers.

I have one in each studio.
