I worked at the Michigan Steinway Dealer as a consultant/tech for 6 years, then I started rebuilding pianos on my own for another 6. I also did private and institutional tuning as well as concert tuning for many of the big venues around Detroit. In 2009 I was hired to run Pianotek Supply's custom keyboard division. In 2015 I acquired that division and incorporated it into my own business, Detroit Pianoworks. In 2019 I sold Detroit Pianoworks to a piano tuning software developer, and started my next piano service company, Aligned Harmonics.
