I have yet to see this S&S D but am told that the director states:
The piano is overall too dull and mellow.
I would like it brightened (at least three times as much!) throughout the registers, but especially in the lowest two octaves and the highest three
He also goes on to say:
I would like to have a very muted soft pedal (that is, the sound should NOT be bright on the shift when the left pedal is used).
I'm hoping that this piano is really marshmallow-like at present. This should be interesting.
