Yup same thing for the cards they give you when you rent a hotel room I NEVER turn those back in . Those little samples of flooring you can get at Home Depot and Lowes make great sanding paddles, shims, wood protectors. the newer vinyl flooring samples can be cut into nice strips you can glue sandpaper to for individual hammer shaping. the thicker wood samples can be used to guide drill bits even store them.
i have some thick dense foam i got from something i bought and i stick the action stack screws in the holes i have numbered.
the ultimate freebee is the magnetic tool strip you can get free at harbor freight tool where you can buy it for about $4
used prescription bottles make great containers for screws/punchings/center pins/ thumb tacks
all of the credit card offers i get go straight to the shredder after i take the card out . it is a crime they can charge the usuary interest rates and then pay you 1% interest on your savings account. PTG should start a credit union . I forgot to pay state sales tax on about $75 of out of state purchases and the revenue dept locked my account. i had to pay the bank $250 to unlock it,,,, beware my friends

Its official..the judge's determination is in...well really judge in the singular...but, whatever. Credit cards are now officially the second most useful tool in my shop! One of the best squeegees and glue spreaders I have ever used...really!
Continually finding new uses for them, other than the intended use...the intended use being, to pay huge amounts of usurious interest just for the fun of it.
