Since the owner had to leave I did not get a chance to take an accurate measurement. i will be returning to do other work and will use an adjustable cafe curtain rod to get an accurate measurement.Maybe you have a pair ? the metal rods in the Schaff catalog come in 12, 14, 21, 23 inch length. Length of the S&S is not listed

I need to find a pair of Mahogany lyre support braces for a 1933 Wm Knabe grand . There are none on the piano and the lyre is not firm and needs the braces to counteract the forces from using the pedal. Its obvious there were some given the presence of wooden screws in the holes on the underside of the piano but they either got lost in transit or have been broken and discarded. I could just use the metal braces Schaff sells in various lengths or purchase a wooden Steinway set that would likely need modification. Perhaps someone has a pair of used mahogany support sticks or knows of a source. I could get a long wooden dowel and taper the ends but would prefer something with a more graceful look.
