I know this is a piano site but some techs may have some ideas about the best way to move around a hammond full sized theater organ with a full sized detachable pedal board. A local auditorium may be gifted an incredible theater organ but it would have to be moved off to the side of either the stage or the main floor in front of the stage to allow space for other events. I am thinking it maybe necessary to construct a very sturdy portable platform to accomodate the organ pedals and bench but perhaps there is a source that makes something like this. There are plenty of hammond organs out there like B-3's that certainly have to be moved about in churches and auditoriums or concert halls. I will search around but perhaps someone has experience with such non-piano moving equipment
