    The cartoon today
Peter Brookes Times cartoon: January 7, 2021
It's encouraging that the piano features as satire. Who's the White House technician? Fancy left-right sabotage of the President's performance. It's all his fault, clearly. :-)

For the avoidance of doubt I'm making no political comment but it's encouraging that our instrument should be worthy of being chosen for a meme in the modern world.

    Best wishes

Please note that the cartoonist has the piano ass-backwards, which is appropriate.

The piano in the cartoon isn't backwards...it's an Astin-Weight from Utah, those things have the curve on the bass (left) side of the piano.

The belly portion of the piano has been rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise (the long-side is behind the keyboard).
