Over the years I have made and given away to friends at BU and multiple special customers hundreds of key rings using new and used hammers (new hammers mostly extras from high treble or at tenor break) usually snip 1/4 inch off the hammer tail so it doesn't interfere with the actual key ring.

At Western Iowa Tech in the late 70's we made Christmas tree ornaments from action parts. Colorful. Some that twirled on stretched out tuning pin coils, bichord dampers glued together around a tuning pin, stuff like that. Sorry, no pictures.

What are some of your favorite art pieces you've seen made from piano parts? If you have pictures to share that would be great!
