  • 1.  Yamaha MX100 Mute Pedal Issue

    Just tuned a Yamaha MX100 Disklavier. Piano had been moved a couple of times in the past 5 years. Mute pedal (middle pedal) not working. pedal itself moved up and down without issue, but the pulldown linkage for the actual felt mute rail does not operate from the pedal. I am not familiar with this setup. The pedal is attached to a small box at the bottom of the piano. The pulldown linkage also goes into this small box. Are replacements available for this box unit? Is there something else that i should be looking at? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!! Keith Gramlich
