Interviews reveal surprisingly strong sales that suggest a resurgence of at-home music-making just as the live concert scene vanished.

My local piano dealer told me starting 3 weeks ago they had a huge jump in business.  Almost zero sales in late March and early April, but now they are selling pianos like crazy.

    Always a silver lining!

My nearby small store here in Austin has been rocking it all along.  They're the Roland digital piano dealer and were selling pianos over the phone when they had stock and the big guys did not.  They also sell reconditioned Yamaha acoustic pianos, and they are flying out the door.

Good news that people with kids sequestered at home are busy buying pianos.
