Has anyone encountered the expanding action brackets on Piano Disc grands made by Young Chang ? I did a Piano Disc upgrade to a Prodigy System and wanted to take off the top stack to help set the solenoid height by removing keys in each section and viewing solenoid height. I could not budge the stack and it was extremely tight on the frame. I seem to recall that this was a was one of the brands that had the expanding bracket problem so I did not remove the stack. The brackets are the same grey/silver as ones I have replaced in YC, Weber and Wurlitzer. Perhaps someone has had to replace brackets in the Piano Disc grands . This is an early 1990's model- no visible cracks, crumbling, action issues though I know the cracks are not always evident.
