Any player installers have any Samick grand trapwork for sale? I restoring an SG-185, but other models might fit.

When player units are installed, I wish they would archive the trapwork with the piano. They can be placed in a bag or box and secured to the 'shelf' over the bass leg.

When installing a truck or leg dollies, I archive the casters in a DC humidistat box and place it on the shelf.

It's inconsiderate and foolish not to do so.

I agree with Jon about saving original trapwork and keeping it with the piano. I do save and place the casters just as he does when I install a stage truck.

Thanks for the replies. Frankly, I've never saved the trapwork on these jobs, but I will now! The player companies probably don't encourage it because they don't want to consider their systems as "temporary".

Locally, someone purchased a new piano and had a player installed. After a few years they were tired of it. The dealer from whom they purchased it would not give them back their trapwork or from a recently installed job. They could however purchase new items from them. Despicable. Can it be construed as theft?
