I have an SS D that has typical buzzing not only in the capo area but the agraffe section just below.
I will be restringing soon and hope to eliminate buzzing by increasing the termination angles -  maybe shim under the rest felt and maybe use brass rod in the capo section. Like grind a flat spot on the cast terminations and install a brass half round.
But my question is about agraffes. I am not confident that the inner shape of the agraffe is optimal. And if I increase the termination angle I may create a termination problem inside of the agraffe.
Is there a tool for giving the agraffe an optimal shape. Some sort of boring tool?
I have the abrasive chord and will use it to get rid of any burrs but I really want to seriously consider reshaping the inside of the agraffe.
Im not certain if purchasing a new set will solve this sort of issue but if I should, are there recomended suppliers that have sets with optimal shape on the inside where no modification is necessary? Fit the sixties vintage SSD?

I've used it chucked in a drill, bu prefet turning them by hand, checking the results in the lighted magnifying glass. Start slow, you don't have to remove much.

Both cutting ends are the same? Or slightly different?
