I just recently learned that the PTG Foundation is one of the charities available for donation through smile.amazon.com. This is a really easy way to get donation dollars for the PTG Foundation. If you buy through the smile.amazon portal instead of amazon.com, they donate a small amount (0.5%) to the charity you have chosen. The Foundation has received about $1200 to date through smile.amazon.com

Subject: PTG Foundation Associate Scholarship
The Piano Technicians Guild Foundation offers scholarships each year to Associate members intending to take the RPT examinations during the current year's PTG Annual Convention & Institute.
The scholarships provide individual recipients with funds for the convention member registration fee, as well as examination fees to cover the applicant's choice of either the PTG Technical Examination or the PTG Tuning Examination. Up to eight scholarships are awarded annually.
Applications are due by April 1. Now you can apply online or download the application to mail in. The application and instructions can be found at - Associate Scholarships
Please share this information with your chapter members, and encourage the Associates to take their initial exams so they can apply for the scholarship by April 1.
