I am looking for someone in the South East Region preferably NC, SC or GA that can recondition or rebuild as well as refinish an 1800's Decker Bros square. It is in good condition and likely was worked on . full 88 note compass, all notes play, no cracks in the board or broken strings .

As a point of information can these pianos be taken up to 440 ? or 435 ?

The piano themselves can handle 440, but if original strings are retained then at 440 some wire will likely break. I would do the work but I am in PA.

    Hi James,

Phil Stewart is in Kentucky. Not quite as close are you were hoping, but perhaps close enough. He does square grand restorations. Great tech, nice guy.
