I've just been using Zap-a-Gap Thin to tighten loose tuning pins. What other CA glues do we all use? Isn't there one with less harmful or less odorous fumes?

    Hi Cobrun:
We just had a long discussion about these glues. Search for this: "CA glue/pinblock poll".

Wow, sorry I missed it. Is there any way for this thread to be deleted then?

I've switched from Zap to GluBoost. The GB accelerator is aerosol and more controlled and smells a heck of a lot better. Their Black Fill & Finish is the perfect ebony touch up. They have many viscosities and great tools for application.

I found your question while cleaning out my email tonight.

I use a gold label, low fumes, thin, CA glue that is usually labeled for the art supplies or hobby store selling it.

l think it is manufactured by Bill Smith enterprises. When I can get downstairs tomorrow I will check.
