I would like some input about the damage I found on a classic 1914 Mason & Hamlin A that was rebuilt in 1997. It looks like the finish on the underside of the foldback on the lid ran/melted/dripped making an unslightly mess. I have a good refinisher that could do his magic but I have to track him down since he moved his shop. The half lid could be removed and probably will have to be. If someone has an idea of how much a fix like this would cost it would help so I can pass it on.

A second issue is the presence of a light mildew on the ivory keytops and wooden sharps. I used some cotton swabs on the end of long skewers to wipe off some of the stuff but need to be careful about using liquids /cleaners because the sharps are stained and not plastic and several heads have loose glue linens. I have used cory key cleaners in the past but also mild murphys oil soap in wrung out cloths. What advice does anyone have on cleaning both the ivory and the ebony sharps ?
