    I have a simple piano string tension spreadsheet (tenor and treble strings only) that I would like to have someone check for accuracy.
    Does anyone have a similar Excel spreadsheet that calculates tension and breaking points to compare with?

    Attached is a spreadsheet I did for a 19th century Broadwood from which perhaps you might get some idea. Please send me yours and I'll have a look. I'm using the formulae in Malcolm Rose's book http://www.malcolm-rose.com/Stringing-Practice/stringing-practice.htm
