Any advice on where to buy all the different rubber buttons that go missing on University pianos?  There are so many different kinds and sizes...  Most of our pianos are Steinways and Bostons, and I have had some luck getting many of the different buttons through Steinway Parts Department, but not all.  And then we have a few pianos of other brands...

Is there a resource where I can see a plethora of types of buttons and choose what I need?

    Thanks for your sage advice!

Best decision I made 30 years ago was to get to boxes of round head screws, flat head screws, rubber buttons, and hinge pins from Hale. I believe Schaff has similar.

Oval head and brass in one box also, from Schaff.

A very robust collection of hinge pins has been extremely helpful over the years.

I bought several different shapes,  colors,  & sizes like James describes from Schaff years ago. Still have some.

Maggie, one never runs out of all of them, one only runs out of the useful sizes.

I called this my "law of assortments" in a Journal article once. Unless periodic renewal is kept going, all assortments will gradually decline into uselessness. My plastic key slip screw box is getting close to that state now.
