Restore the member directory

Nearly every day I have a need to find information on a member of PTG.  The former printed directory was so handy and useful that I rue the day it was decided to cease publication.  Yes, I understand the reasoning:  Go Green, save trees, it was costly, etc. etc.

But the alternative provided online is almost unusable.  I go to the online directory and the only thing I can find out is if the person I'm looking for is a member or not.  I cannot find his/her address, phone, email or website if any.  I have to resort to other means to find the person.   This is time consuming and not always productive.

Give us back the old printed directory perhaps with these alternatives:  Publish every two years instead of every year.  I for  one would be willing to pay for the information to offset PTG's cost of publication.  Another solution might be to publish it electronically so the information could be printed on our own printers or taken to an office supply to be made into bound form or on a chip/thumb drive we could plug into our own computers?

At the very least, consider giving members a directory at PTG.org  that is complete and  user friendly.  I can assume that with Clint gone this is not easy to do, but if the powers that be in PTG want to give its members a genuine benefit that is immediately usable, please consider restoring the directory.  How do other similar organizations accomplish this?   Sometimes decisions that seem right at the time, don't turn out that way in the end.
