If you recall, some number of weeks ago I posted that a customer in Eastern Ohio had a Yamaha grand piano with a bad pin block. Several of you called him and offered quotes on repair.  He just called me and said that they (a church) want to sell the piano for $2,000. This is a nice looking Yamaha. There is obviously a stain on the pin block in the bass section. It is clear that someone, somewhere spilled or put something onto the pin block. A previous technician increased the tuning pins by two sizes but I can literally pull some of the tuning pins out of the pin block with my fingers.

If any of you are interested in finding out more, I am willing to give you his number.   The idea here is that one of you would purchase the piano, install a new pin block and then sell the piano for a profit.

Let me know if you would like to know more.
