They did the same thing when they bought APSCO years ago.
Like so many other companies, they do it because they can.

That stinks! Schaff bought Pianotek and it's been a deflating experience seeing good tools and supplies not being distributed any more. There have been other Pianotek supplies that Schaff has not continued to provide, one being Pianotek's excellent key bushing cloth options.
Being dramatic here, but Pianotek closing was awful. I went to them for most everything.
