Hey all - I'm having a hard time finding a specific slotted wood screw for the pressure bar on a 1901 Knabe upright (my personal piano...).

Specs:  #12 x 1-3/4 oval head, slotted, stainless steel, fine thread

I can find this spec all day long with course threads, but not fine.  Anyone have a source or have these in their inventory?  I only need about 6, but willing to purchase 25 or so if required.

    Tom,

Why SS?  Also, what is the actual thread count? I would think (always dangerous) you'd want nickel plated.

Edit: I assume you looked at Bolt Depot?

Hi Peter - you're right, these are more likely nickel, rather than SS - I just haven't seen any options for nickel plated.  Everywhere I've found anything close seems to offer only SS or brass.  I'll double check the actual thread count later today.

Check McMaster-Carr or similar industrial supplier.
