    I can see and hear Eric but it says seesion hasn't started yet and there's no chat function

    I think I had to actually restart my computer, as it seemed that there was something amiss with my internet connection, even though I was seeing and hearing him.  It's OK.  He didn't actually have all that much to say :) .(He does have a really nice website though.)
    Actually,  the other things that were frustrating were:
    - lighting wasn't adequate to see some of what he was doing
    - while he's not necessarily alone in this,  it didn't seem that he thought to much about how to more gracefully include the streamers
    - no one seemed to be monitoring the chat for quite some time

    If we take notes and provide thorough feedback, this could be a useful first run.  We should keep in mind though that almost any of these systems need 'people' to make them work.  Kathy can't be everywhere.

    Don't forget that you'll be able to view recordings of all 12 of the classes. We'll be sending out a link to registrants in a week or so with access info.

    Good news! All convention registrants - Live Stream and onsite - will have access to the Live Stream classes recordings. We'll send out the link soon.

    We can talk about making the recordings available to others, so stay tuned.

    The video shots often were the best seat in the house. They'll make good additions to the PTG Academy, or however broadly we can distribute them.  Knowing you can catch the video later makes choosing sessions easier, or just that you can pause and repeat if you missed something.

    While grateful for the effort, that was not quite my experience, Joshua -
    Lighting, sound, inclusion were all issues, at times.  I'm not sure I understand how "knowing you can catch the video later..." would make choosing a session easier, as there was only one session at a time to choose from... a workable selection for people like me.  As for pausing and repeating, I must have missed that feature.  It there, it would have been good to know.  
    In general, it was revealing as to some of the issues that would need to be addressed for future live/streaming events.  It was clear that, for the instructors, the energy and planning required for a 'hybrid' event is quite different.

    Yes, there were hiccups, but when the video was good, it was right where you wanted to be. I'm sure we'll all take notes and things will be smoother next time, and I'm grateful to the many people who made this happen. If I was attending in person, I would have skipped the live stream classes, knowing they'd be recorded, in favor of other classes that were "double booked".  The reference to pause and replay is for the upcoming posted videos. When they come out, we should be able to play and repeat until our heart's content.

    Looking at the full class list, there doesn't appear to be anything scheculed for streaming on Saturday.  Of hand, it seems that it ought to have been possible to put something in that room.  Still, even sitting in the comfort of home, I'm pretty wasted.  If you haven't done so before (and I myself haven't), go into the folders of previous Conventions to extract the hand out material.  There's plenty to keep you busy.
