  • 1.  Looking for Baldwin (Hamilton?) action bracket screw

    Well, it doesn't SAY "Hamilton" but it certainly is the same design. 
    This is the hex screw that screws into the plate threads securing the action bracket.  Found one stripped and bent today.  Hoping the plate threads are still intact.  Couldn't locate anything at Schaff or Pianotek.  Is Baldwin able to supply such things?  I haven't talked to them for years. Lost contact info years ago.

    Try Home Depot, it's an ordinary hex bolt. You might want to get a tap as well to clean up the threads. 1/4 20 coarse thread I think but take your sample to the store.
    If you haven't used a tap before, find some instruction online. The last thing you need is to break the tap in the plate.
