I recently replaced them on a 2003 Kawai RX-3. Easy enough to do. Don
Manino told me that the fall board should not be forced to close as it
will wear out the slow-fall units more quickly - good to know and to
share with clients whose pianos have them, as they are a bit on the
expensive side, especially with shipping costing what it does these
days.
