Rick Butler has kindly encouraged me to think about coming.
Around 20 years ago I came to USA at the invitation of the Latrobe
family and we were able to do a tour of the President's House, Decatur
House and the Capitol. The Capitol has interior spaces which are
extraordinary architecture and well worth trying to see.
Can one bring a guest? If anyone's interested, the tuning that I do
enables an artist who understands the sound to enable the instrument
to find calm. That calm is always disturbed by the beating of equal
temperament and the instrument is denied the dimension. I'd be happy
to tune an instrument and if an artist who works with my tuning
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oYEStjnncQ could come from Italy,
perhaps tuning in USA might encourage better musicianship in the
future.
Best wishes

Subject: Convention - who is going?
I plan on going to my first convention after 20 plus years of being a member of PTG. Is anyone else going? I am fairly excited about it. Arlington is about 9 hours from here, so I am thinking about renting a comfortable vehicle and driving up there the Tuesday before. Maybe do the tourist thing for a couple of days after the convention and come home the following Tuesday.
