    Restringing a Kawai GS-60...

    Check out these pins removed from the block. This is just a sampling of the roughly 75% bent pins. Whoever was tuning this thing was pretty heavy handed on the tuning lever.  Some of them were bent close to breakage I think.

    That's incredible, the tech must have jumped on the hammer while on the pins!  Did you notice any damage to the pinblock near the top from the side pressure?

    Not specifically (they were VERY tight), but what a time I had getting them out! Drill flying back and forth all over the place, socket kept coming out and had to keep being retightened, major pain. Not fun. Worst case of pin bending I've ever seen.
