Can a missing lid hinge be duplicated by a 3-D printer if there is still one matching lid hinge?

Estonia cannot replace the missing lid hinge.

You might try talking with Mark Purney at Supply 88 who is making action brackets for Young Changs. You might also want to find someone using water jet lasers to make metal parts. I will ask a guy here who has a shop with industrial grade equipment. Maybe there are hinges from Yamaha that will work but require some routing out of the lid. What happened to the other hinge ?

Is the hinge completely missing or only half of it?  I have made a few from scratch for vintage pianos, so it can be done.

Go to a machinist job shop.  Have them do a digital scan of the existing part. Then use the digital twin to fabricate a new part.  Or go

    to protolabs.com
