    Hi y'all,
I have a client with a Fazioli grand that has what I would describe as "muting sliders". It's a nifty operatus. It had to have been installed by someone post factory production. I now have to replace the felts on those sliders since they've compacted to a point where they're no longer muting as they once were.  Does any one know how to extract them?  Enclosed are some photos for reference.
    Thank you kindly.

That system was made and sold by Steve James, RPT, and was called Grand Piano Muffler.  I'm not sure if he is still making them.

    Good luck,

Steve Jackson is still making Grand Piano Mufflers. I'm in contact with him about an upcoming installation.

    Hi Dan,

Are you certain that the mute rail is a retrofit? As you may know, Fazioli does offer such a feature.
