I posted this on the Tools , Parts thread and got a call from a tech that called me but have had no call back. Anyway I am still in search of a replacement front end unit PDS 228 or above. Customer is not willing to go with Prodigy due to the cost and her 128 plays but volume control and the 3.5 diskette are issues.
I am looking for a used, working Piano Disc 228 CFX with or without the Symphony option. Needed to replace a PDS 128 that can only playback 3 1/2 hard diskettes and the volume can not be adjusted less than 5 bars. Owner is not wanting to go to a Prodigy wireless. I am hoping to get a used unit in working condition removed for a Prodigy upgrade. reluctant to purchase off E-Bay or Craigs because sellers often sell duds and have no return policy .
There has to units taken off pianos that had their players upgraded. Help !!!
